Zero Gravity Referral Programme Ts&Cs (2024)

 

These are the terms and conditions for Zero Gravity’s referral programme.

Before we start, as we’re the promoter of this programme, legally we have to give you our address… So here it is: Zero Gravity HQ, 55 Bartholomew Close, London, EC1A 7BF.

If you’re inviting someone to join Zero Gravity you’ll need to be a current student with an existing Zero Gravity account.

 

1. How it works:

We’re trying to get as many students from across the UK into world-class universities and top-tier careers, to do this, we need your help!

Our referral scheme is really simple

1. Refer a uni student using your Zero Gravity referral link
2. They sign up, and we check if they’re eligible for Zero Gravity
3. If eligible as an Access all Areas member*, they’ll go through onboarding and start using the platform
4. You’ll unlock the benefits associated with the referral scheme at that time for each eligible person you successfully refer!

Your invite link lives in your Zero Gravity account. When you send it to someone, we ask them to create an account. This sets the clock ticking. They have 30 days to sign up and have their eligibility assessed (this takes seconds!), create an account and complete their onboarding.

Age Requirement: All participants in the Zero Gravity referral programme and recipients of any associated incentives must be 18 years of age or older.

1.1 Zero Gravity Access All Areas Eligibility*

At Zero Gravity, our aim is to create equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of where you come from. If you’re from an area with fewer opportunities, we’re here to change that by offering you full, free access to our 1:1 mentoring, masterclasses, and career opportunities.

This commitment also applies to our referral programme. To be considered an eligible referral, the person you refer must also meet the criteria for Access All Areas membership.

 

1.1.1 What if my referral doesn’t qualify for Access All Areas membership?

Zero Gravity is a diverse community of university students and professionals, all united by our shared mission to level the playing field. Whether it’s mentoring school students into university, guiding university students into top industries, or sharing knowledge within our community, everyone plays a part.

If someone you refer doesn’t qualify for Access All Areas membership, they are still very welcome to join our platform and contribute to our mission. While you won’t receive a reward for referring them, they’ll still have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and benefit from our vibrant community.

 

2. What’s allowed?

Sharing. Lots of sharing.

If you cross the 100 successful referral threshold because you’re sharing your link far and wide with people you know (posting on social media is fine, and feel free to tag us!), you’ll have contributed to thousands of hours of mentoring and a huge impact on students from across the UK! If you pass 100 referrals, we’ll continue to keep generating referral rewards for you and likely be in touch to put your name in lights as a key contributor to Zero Gravity’s mission!

 

3. What’s not allowed?

We reserve the right to freeze your link if we suspect the referral system is being abused/used in a way that is not in keeping with Zero Gravity’s mission.

 

4. The small print

Our referral scheme goes live in August 2024. It will be reviewed at the end of 2024, when we have the right to turn it off or on at any time and change the associated rewards. We’ll let you know by removing the ability to create new invite links on your Zero Gravity account.

Referral links you’ve already created will still work for 30 days after you created them. You can’t exchange any rewards for an alternative, and we reserve the right to replace referral rewards with something else at any time.

We can’t promise we’ll say yes to everyone who applies to be part of Zero Gravity after using your link - we have strict eligibility criteria to ensure we’re marching towards our social mission.

By taking part in our referral scheme, you’ll be signalling that you’ve read and agree to these Ts&Cs.

If we suspect any fraud or breach of these terms, we can refuse to assign your referral reward.

We’ll collect, store and process the data for everyone who takes part in line with our Privacy Policy.
